so...what's been up lately? actually, a fair amount, in no particular order.

i went in to the doctor for my eye because it keeps getting really bloodshot, light sensitive and painful. turns out all of my symptoms equal a condition called episcleritis. it's an inflammation of the outer part of my eye. don't know what causes it, and everything i've been doing has been right. it usually lasts about one to two weeks, and is often recurring. i also went to a dermatologist who's a friend of my aunt's, and it turns out i don't have ringworm on my leg. it's a condition called lichen simplex and is basically just an overly itchy patch that i kept itching until it got bad. he gave me a bunch of cream and said that it should more or less clear up in a month or so. i'm not 100% sure he's right, but we'll see.

my youngest brother graduated from high school a couple of weeks ago and we had his open house this past saturday. it was crazy insane getting ready for it, and of course he didn't help very much. at least it's over now. it was cool, cause a bunch of people were in town for a wedding, so i got to see the mackeys, and my aunt martha was in town cause ally had a soccer tournament in kazoo that weekend. i also got a LOT of compliments on my brother's picture board. i put a fair amount of time into it, and if i do say so myself, it looks pretty awesome. i don't really want to take it down.

my mom's been getting on my nerves, but that's not really anything new.

work's been more boring than usual. there hasn't been hardly anything for anyone to do all week. several people have been leaving early, but i can't because i have to be there to answer the phones. my mom's paranoid that i'm gonna get laid off because they laid a couple of people off a couple weeks ago. i'm not too worried, but i have been looking for another job, mainly to make more money and so that i can move out of the house. i've also been working a little bit at my dad's shop, but i don't think i'm getting paid for it. i'm not sure.

i've started working out at kvcc, but it's been kind of sporadic, mainly because i prefer to go at night after work, but my mom doesn't usually like that cause then i'm not home for dinner. doesn't matter that zach isn't there half the time. whatever.

despite how most of this post might sound, i'm actually in a decent mood today. for anyone who doesn't know, i got my BON JOVI TICKET TODAY! yes, i said ticket, not tickets...i'm going by myself, cause no one responded that they wanted to go with me. and i'm perfectly fine with it. i think we all know how much i worship this band, and i usually don't notice/talk to anyone with me anyway. i didn't get as close a seat as i would have liked because meijer's is slightly retarded, but i don't really care. i'm still pretty close, on the floor, and i'm going to see BON JOVI. on the way home this morning i even got a little teary/emotional thinking about it. i don't care what anyone thinks of that, because only i know just how much this man, this band and their music means to me. i can't even begin to explain it. august 21 cannot come fast enough!

anyway, i was just informed that my dad wants me to go in and work tomorrow morning, so i should probably think about calling it a night.
