i love my grandma and grandpa. they are so awesome! on wednesday afternoon at around 1, i got a call from jennifer informing me that bon jovi was going to be on oprah that afternoon. i was a bit frantic, because i couldn't think of who would be home around 4 to tape it for me. granted, i knew it was a repeat, but i hadn't seen it the first time, so i wanted to tape it. i tried calling grandma on the off chance that someone would be home, and she had grandpa tape it for me. THEN, they dropped it off the next day to my mom. of course, i watched it last night, and LOVED IT (except for the part where one of his fans got to meet him). i was so happy i almost cried. this still doesn't make up for the time they were in the same hotel with the band and DIDN'T get their autographs, but...;)

grandpa thought it was really funny how oprah's studio audience was made up entirely of women, and how they were all jumping up and down and screaming their heads off for at least the first ten minutes. he calls it a comedy. it was pretty awesome to see. oprah tried to calm everyone down, but it didn't work until after jon came back out and did it himself.

*sigh* everyone think good thoughts for me on july 20 & 21. i'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it, and it's gonna be my 9th time seeing them.
